We are still enjoying our time at home with Oliver. He has been a normal and sassy two-year-old and we are thankful for that! We spent this week getting a bunch of testing (kidney, heart, etc..) at UNC done before the bone marrow transplant. Everything looks good and we are still scheduled to start the bone marrow transplant on May 5th. We will be in the hospital for 6-8 weeks depending on how everything is going and how his body receives his transplant. The donor is scheduled to give her bone marrow on May 14th and Oliver will get the bone marrow through his central line in what looks like a blood bag on May 15th.

If you are joining us in prayer, please pray that Oliver would continue stay healthy so we don’t have to check into the hospital early and that all the transplant details would go smoothly without delays.
