We just heard earlier today that a panel will meet about our level 2 appeal to get the outpatient chemo approved. The meeting is tomorrow at 1:15 and a pediatric oncologist from outside Blue Cross will review our case and request for an exception to the standard age limitation in the policy. Will will be able to attend the meeting by phone and be able to present our case to the panel. They will make a decision by the end of the day on Wednesday.

Please pray that this meeting would be successful and the outpatient chemo would be approved by insurance. And that whenever we are able to go home, that our kids would not be contagious anymore. Lots of snotty noses and coughing around here!

ps- his nurses made him his own tag and he’s so proud of it, he wants us to put it on him before he goes in the hallway. ☺️ (picture below)
