Oliver is in good spirits, and we are excited to start his chemotherapy today. “Excited” may be the wrong word, but we feel good about finally being able to make progress in ridding him of the cancer. He has been suffering quite a bit with the fevers, sweats, and the bone pain so we are hopeful that those symptoms will improve over the next few days as the treatment takes effect.

Please pray that he tolerates the chemotherapy well and that it works! He will be getting chemo via his central line but also needs to swallow an oral solution that the pharmacist thinks he is not going to like. (We asked her how it tastes, but she’s never sampled it herself! 😉)
